Higher.
Straining. Searching. Squinting.

Far. Distant. Out of reach. Beyond measurement. Untravelable. Beyond comprehension.

Skyscraper. Sears Tower. One Trade Center. The Burj Khalifa.
Higher.
Spaceship. Plane. Satellite. Rocket boosters.
Higher.
No oxygen. Void of gravity. Weightlessness.
Higher.
Solar systems. Orion’s Belt. Pluto. Mars.
Higher.
Constellations. Moons. Distant worlds.
Higher.
How can you go any higher? How can you get past the clouds? You can’t. So what way can I get beyond the heavens… What’s the limit?

His mercy will always go beyond your sin. He will always extend grace further than your mistakes. His compassion will always reach past your pain. His presence can always be seen with the eyes of faith. Closer than two atoms. Faster than boiling molecules. More intimate than high school sweethearts on their wedding day.
There is no limit to His mercy, no exhausting the reach of His grace. Stop Running. Stop measuring. Cease from pushing. Let His mercy take you…
